1	Socio-economic development and social security program A) VGD	Under the VGD program of 9 union of Sarail upazila, food security and training were provided to 1159 female poor women. The program is successful: Each grain was given 30 kg of food grains. Awareness and income generating training is provided. 1	B) Matriculation allowance for the poor mother	Maternity allowance program is running for poor mother in nine unions of Sarail upazila. Under this program, the beneficiaries are paid the monthly allowance of Tk 500 / - (five hundred taka) per month to the beneficiary beneficiaries.
