Overview of the service

 

District / Upazila office is notified in the notification. Interested women have collected the prescribed application form from the office of Upazila Women Affairs Officer's office and submitted them properly. The Local Debt Committee approved the application form and approved within 15 days and secured unpaid loan service for 1/2 years for 5% interest.

- The loan applicant must have a residence or a permanent resident of the area

The loan candidate should have minimum characterization and the age limit should be between 18 years and 55 years

In the case of providing loans, priority is given to the destitute, husband abandoned, widow and unmarried women

-The loan applicants apply for loans individually

- If any other government / non-government organization has borrowed from it and it is running, the loan can not be provided under this program. If given false information about this, the loan given (proof) can be canceled.

- Priority was given to women belonging to trained women on different subjects from the Department of Women's Affairs and the National Women Organization.

Distribution of Voluntary Women's Commitment (Left Front)

Overview of the service

 

After dissemination of advertisement through advertisement on the website of national daily newspaper, Bangladesh Betar and Television and Women Affairs Department, the application has to be collected from the district / upazila office. The 3 (three) forms filled by the association have to be submitted to the district / upazila office. Honorable Minister / Member of Parliament / Left Front Member / Chairman of the National Women Organization / Upazila Chairman / Female Vice Chairman / Upazila Nirbahi Officer should be recommended. Upazila Women Affairs Officer Sarjamin said that they presented in the upazila committee for general and special donations. District Women Affairs Officer examined the applications received from the upazila committee and presented them in the district committee. The district committee has sent the general amnesty application form to the B and C category and the members of the Bangladesh Woman Welfare Council (Bamakop) send the director general, Directorate of Women Affairs to the Directorate of Women's Affairs. The director general sent the report to the sub-committee of Bangladesh Woman Welfare Council with the verification of the application received from the district. Sub-committee of Bangladesh Woman Welfare Council prepared a draft list of eligible associations to present in the Bangladesh Women's Welfare Council. After reviewing the draft prepared by the sub-committee of Bangladesh Woman Welfare Council, published the final list of the association for the donation. According to the final list, district / upazila women affairs officer distributed the check of the donation on a predetermined date.

Terms of service received

 

A) General donation:

1. The registration period of the association will be full of two years

2. All associates will have to submit application to the office of District / Upazila Women Affairs Officer in the prescribed date.

3. Incompetence, corruption and mismanagement, and under the microcredit program given by the Department of Women Affairs, the accused society as a loan defaulter will not be eligible for grants.

4. Grants received from foreign organizations / donor agencies will not be considered for grant

5. At least 10% of the expenditure of women's welfare and development programs will be given priority to the society / organization which can meet its own fund.

B) Special grant:

1. All qualifications and terms of general grants are applicable

2. Special grants can be provided between 1 (one) year on the basis of the activities of the association

3. Under the Women's Investigation Department, the lending committee can be recommended for special donations in the current year.

4. Special donation should be conducted at the association's office / house

C) Voluntary donations

1. The registration period of the association will be completed at least one year

2. Other conditions apply to the sub-paragraph 2 to 5

3. According to the Hon'ble Minister / Minister's directive, the voluntary donation will be given on the basis of the application of the institution / organization.

VGD Program

Overview of the service

 

According to the circular, after getting the number of VGD female beneficiaries in the upazila, the Upazila Committee did inform the meeting and according to the poverty identification map, the number of beneficiaries in the union were determined. Upazila women affairs officer informed the VGD women selection committee at the union level informing beneficiary selection in the meeting.

Union VGD Women's Selection Committee constitutes four separate separate minorities for each ward. When the small-scale VGD female is selected for election, where the public will be publicized. In the presence of villagers in a public meeting on a small-scale basis, the terms of the selection of the beneficiaries are explained and according to condition, the eligible applicants will fulfill the initial application form-1. Minor members prepare basic lists of eligible women by completing the attached table-2 by visiting the prospective women's house according to the preliminary application form. The list was jointly signed by the members of the small party and sent the initial application form -1 along with Upazila Women Affairs Officer to the upazila VGD committee. Upazila Nirbahi Officer of Upazila VGD Committee reviewed the full list and reviewed it. Upazila Nirbahi Officer and Upazila Women Affairs Officer signed the complete list prepared on Form 3 according to each page. The final signed list is sent to the union. The final list is displayed on the union council's notice board.

When any irregularities / objections / complaints were found in the list, the investigation committee was investigated by Upazila VGD Committee (Upazila Executive Officer, two / three-member inquiry committee).

Within 7 days of the final listing approval, the Upazila Women Affairs Officer and the upazila officer (tag officer), who is in charge of the union, distribute the VGD card by interviewing the selected VGD woman on the date prescribed by the Upazila Parishad.Upazila VGD committee has set a separate date for distribution of food grains of each union. According to approved list and distribution cards, 30 kg of wheat / rice is provided every month for 24 months. In addition, training of income generating activities is provided by selected NGOs.

Maternity Allowance Program for the poor mother

Overview of the service

 

The campaign was conducted by the union committee to present the potential candidates on a specific date and the survey was done locally and surveyed by the mother of the pregnant woman. The primary selection of the school, college / madrassa chief, Imam, local Kazi and union land assistants is to collect specific information of age, marriage, childhood, monthly income, property ownership, and in the prescribed form, the primary selection is done on the predetermined date.

Regarding pregnancy, beneficiaries collected free certificates from Upazila Family Planning / Health Officer for pregnancy.

After scrutinizing the information received from the district, after submitting the application form 'A', initially selected the district / upazila committee with non-appointment and recommendation.

After approval of the Upazila Committee, the committee approves the final list and finally finalizes the card to the beneficiaries. Monthly allowance of Rs.450 / - per month is provided for 4 times or 24 months.

"Maternity Allowance for the Poor Mothers" implementation program is implemented in accordance with the implementation policy, March 2011. according to it:

A. First or second pregnancy (any one time)

B. Age at least 20 years or more

C. Total monthly income is below 1500 / -

D The poor disabled mother will get priority

E. Only the homesteads or living in other places

F. There is no agricultural land for myself or family, pond for fishery cultivation

G. The beneficiary must be pregnant during the beneficiary election ie in July

-After fulfilling minimum 5 (five) conditions with A, B and G, the name of the name will be included in the primary list.

- If the child of first and second pregnancy dies within two or two years of pregnancy or during birth, the third pregnancy will be payable.

-When you get a maternity allowance for a period of two (two) years in an aspirant life

Working Lactating Mother Support Fund Program

Overview of the service

 

The poor pregnant / dairy-based mother working in any organization or her own home, in the prescribed form, appeals to the district committee / direct district women affairs officer or to whom the Responsible NGOs / CBOs, Ward Commissioner, Women Ward Commissioner or Registered Women's Committees collect the list of potential beneficiaries and fulfill them. Presented in the district committee with application form.The district committee finalized the list by visiting potential beneficiaries of that list.

According to the final list, the beneficiaries are entitled to receive the allowance in the name of the beneficiary, and after getting the payment of 400 rupees (four hundred taka) from the Agrani Bank for a period of four months, for four months, 24 months are available.

Conditions

- Must be at least 20 years old or older;

- Monthly total income is up to 5000 / - or below and no other income source;

- BGMEA / BKMEA should be a poor, destitute milking and pregnant woman employed in a scheduled organization;

- 61 district headquarters and later extended 64 districts will be permanent residents of the municipality and city corporation (scheduled areas for the program) ie voters and certified ward councilors;

- Pregnant / handicapped pregnant women will get priority in the field of entitlement;

- The child of the first and second pregnancies will receive this allowance once in a person's life for a maximum of 24 months from the time of pregnancy or delivery;

- A working mother will not be eligible for this allowance for the third or the next child birth. However, the third pregnancy can be considered if the child of the first and second pregnancy dies between two months of pregnancy or birth. If a married mother has multiple marriages, the same rule applies;

- If the child dies within two years of birth, the mother will receive the allowance until the completion of 24 months;

- If the elected mother dies within two years the allowance will be closed. If the child is alive then the legal guardian will get the allowance.

Overview of the service

 

For the expansion of women's empowerment, leadership development and development activities at the grassroots level, a 'A' form for voluntary women's institution registration is required to apply to the District / Upazila Women Affairs Officer with the recommendation of the Deputy Commissioner / Upazila Executive Officer. The application of the upazila is sent to the district officer for registration. After the necessary scrutiny, District Women Affairs Officer registers the societies.
